At the beginning of July 2024, six of our doctoral candidates attended the Mycotoxin Summer Academy at BOKU University, where they deepened their knowledge and skills in mycotoxin research.

In November 2024, the doctoral candidates had the pleasure of attending an Intellectual Property Rights course at BOKU University, presented by Florian Krainer, professional from dsm-firmenich company. The sessions were packed with valuable insights on IP strategies for research and innovation, helping them learn how to protect our work and make the most of its impact. Opportunities like this encourage the DC to think beyond the lab and explore how their research can create a broader impact.

During the last week of January 2025, our doctoral candidates attended a Scientific Writing & Ethics course at BOKU University, led by John Leslie, Rudolf Krska, and Franz Berthiller. The lectures were packed with useful tips, hands-on sessions, and practical advice on structuring papers, getting research noticed, and navigating the publication process.
